Upon graduating from Duquesne University School of Law and gaining admittance to the Virginia Bar, Mr. Shoen began his legal career as an attorney in the Virginia Office of the Public Defender in Lynchburg and Bedford, Virginia. In keeping with his firm commitment to public service, Darren continues to work to defend the rights of the indigent and injured workers.  Mr. Shoen's commitment to zealously representing his clients was featured in a November 2003 feature article on the front page of the Lynchburg News and Advance.
